John T. Greene
John T. Greene has served on our Board of Directors since June 2019. Since September 2019, Greene has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Discover Financial Services (DFS), where he is responsible for overseeing the company's financial strategy.
Previously, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of Bioverativ, Inc., a global biopharmaceutical company, from November 2016 to April 2018. Before joining Bioverativ, Greene was Chief Financial Officer of Willis Group Holdings, a global risk advisory, insurance, and reinsurance brokerage firm, from June 2014 to January 2016. He also held senior executive roles at HSBC (HSBC), a global financial services company, for eight years, including as Chief Financial Officer for the Retail Bank and Wealth Management business. Earlier in his career, he worked for 12 years in various roles at General Electric (GE).
Greene holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the State University of New York and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
